Break a sweat in this Exercise Minute fat-blasting circuit

Crossfit Central Personal Trainer Carey Kepler walks you through a workout to get the heart going in the morning or any time of day.

In today’s Exercise Minute, Crossfit Central’s personal trainer, Carey Kepler will teach us a quick circuit that will be sure to make us break a sweat. All you will need for this exercise is yourself. 

Thrusters

Begin with your feet shoulder-width apart. Then, you will squat into a full-depth position, while your arms pull you upward into a press-out overhead.

Push-Ups

The next exercise will be push-ups. Begin in the plank position with your hands underneath your shoulders. Bring your chest towards the ground before pulling back up into a full extension at the top.

Alternating V-Ups

The last exercise in this circuit is an alternating v-up. With your arms fully extended overhead, you’ll move into a “V”, where your right hand will touch your left foot. Then, you will move back into a full extension on the ground. Next, you will repeat the same movement with your opposite hand and foot.

Once you complete this circuit, rest for 30 seconds and repeat it for a total of five times.
